With only two ingredients, you'll make the perfect homemade mint syrup. Bring water to a boil, pour over mint leaves and sugar. Rest for 24 hours. Strain.

Instructions
Start by rinsing and removing each mint leave from the sprigs. Discard stems.
Prepare the quantity of water and sugar. Bring water to a boil.
Place mint leaves in a container. Pour over the boiling water, add sugar and combine until sigar is dissolved.
Cover and let it stand and infuse for 24 to 48 hours.
After this time, strain through a fine-mesh strainer to remove mint leaves and pour into bottles.
Store in a refrigerator and enjoy with ice cubes and fresh water (plain or sparkling).
